Denn der sandige Boden in der Region speichert das Wasser relativ schlecht, sodass anhaltende Trockenperioden schnell sichtbar werden. Immerhin: der Humusaufbau auf der ehemaligen Ackerfl\u00e4che geht sp\u00fcrbar voran. Dieser wirkt wie ein Schwamm und bindet die Feuchtigkeit deutlich besser als der Sand.
